DIGITAL COFFEE SHOP
DMEXCO, Cologne

The technology company, which specializes in measuring digital target groups and real-time advertising, offers an invisible service that nevertheless constantly accompanies our everyday lives. Making the keywords measure & advertise visible and tangible in the brand architecture was therefore the basic idea behind the brand architecture. The theme “constant presence in the everyday situation” was consequently to be told in a very everyday space: the coffee shop.

The design of the Quantcast appearance was launched in 2015 and also presented at DMEXCO in 2016, furthermore set up several times at events in Stockholm or at the MWC in Barcelona or as a rooftop lounge for the Cannes Lions Festival. The typical interior of the urban bar or café space, mostly dark and warm, is overlaid and contrasted: Colored plexiglass elements overlay the warm basic tonality, welcoming visitors and forming luminous communication surfaces. In their formal language, they cited the ascending and descending of graphs created during measurements. The principle of layering, layers, transparencies, the interlocking of materials and colors, is continued down to the smallest detail.

The concept uses high-quality materials and finishes that reflect seriousness without being stale: Brickwall, metal mesh, exposed concrete, glass, blackened steel, dark oak, leather.

The so-called measure-tape, a stylized tape measure, is another element of the CI. In architecture, it is playfully used for discovery at second glance: It forms the outline of the monitors at the corners of the stand for the moving image content or is found as a punched-out pattern in the metal passepartout of the upper floor.
